  • Minimum Wage 2010-03-01

  • States construction projects brought forward 2009-12-01

    As part of the £44m stimulus programme, the States are bringing forward various construction and refurbishment projects and plan to remove a backlog of maintenance work.   • Enterprise Grants 2009-09-14

    Enterprise Grants have now been introduced by the States as one of a series of projects designed to help businesses through the economic downturn. Awarded on the basis that at least one extra full time member of staff is employed by an organisation, Enterpise Grants will take the form of matched funding with a maximum of £5,000 available for essential fixed asset items.  Further info is available at JBV or contact Jersey Enterpise directly on 448140. 



  • New food safety legislation 2008-11-11
    If your business involves the preparation / sale of food, there is new legislation due out soon that will affect you.  Training sessions are currently being held for businesses by Public Health.  For more information, contact Val Cameron on 443712.  Cooksafe training courses are also available from Highlands College which covers the requirements of the new legislation.
